Meet the Founder

Stephanie Singleton

RYT-500, Clinical Yoga Therapist, NASM Behavior Change Specialist, Certified in Trauma Conscious and Perinatal Yoga

After spending 7 years as a CNN producer, Stephanie decided to leave the newsroom chaos for a life of wellness. She traveled to Rishikesh, India to study yoga, meditation, and breathwork under master yogis. In India, Stephanie focused on the study of traditional root practices of yoga, and she now educates all of her clients from that unique perspective. Her business, Prana Wellness, was born in India. Stephanie is an RYT 500hr yoga instructor, Yoga Therapist Rx, NASM Behavior Change Specialist, and certified in perinatal yoga, and trauma. She studied Yoga Therapy, in a 4 year program, at Loyola Marymount University. Stephanie is a proud military spouse, and is honored to teach specialized yoga to the military community, both Active Duty and Veterans. As an expert speaker and wellness educator, Stephanie has been called upon as an expert to speak to organizations like U.S. Naval Hospital, Zip Recruiter, UCSD, USC, IDEA World, and Georgia Department of Public Health, and numerous others. She has been featured in Essence, and on BNC News!

Prana Wellness was born out of Stephanie’s own need for wellness in a challenging work environment. Prana Wellness provides a range of wellness services, aimed at healing the whole person. Prana brings wellness to the workplace through yoga, meditation, and breath work, and also provides private wellness events, and retreats around the globe.

Stephanie is passionate about helping her private clients heal their own bodies through Yoga Therapy. She specializes in chronic pain, anxiety, and gut health. If Stephanie is not working, or working out, she is most likely cooking or traveling. She is passionate about food and health equity. Stephanie is a member of the Philanthropic Leadership Board for EatREAL, a non-profit working to increase kids’ access to real food and education. Stephanie believes that a person’s physical and mental wellbeing can dictate their entire life, so she motivates people to prioritize all around wellness, by being their “Motivator in Chief.”

THE POWER OF PRANA

Prana is Sanskrit for breath, considered as a life-giving force. Prana is seen as a universal energy, which flows in currents in and around the body.
